Whitley Bay FC have launched an innovative crowdfunding scheme to raise vitally important funds as spectators start to be allowed back into non-league grounds. As part of a restructured season ticket package, those donating to the scheme will be offered one of a series of rewards, ranging from a single match day ticket to a brand new Executive Membership. Executive members will receive entry to all league and league cup games, free match day raffle ticket, free hot drink in the executive lounge before the game or at half time plus 10% off purchases at the bar via the executive lounge. Also included is private use of the executive lounge before games and at half time. Other rewards available in this new scheme include adult, concession and child season tickets. If the Crowdfunding Rewards scheme raises £2,500 by the end of September, the club will receive matched funding sponsorship.
Having frozen admission prices for the last eight seasons, there is a £1 increase in charges for the coming season and the season ticket prices reflect the new matchday prices.
