Whitley have been given home ties in the opening rounds of the two national competitions. On Saturday 7 August North Ferriby  from Humberside are the visitors to Hillheads in the FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round.  The winners of that tie will be away to Billingham Town or West Allotment Celtic in the Preliminary Round two weeks later. In the FA Vase 1st Qualifying Round Whitley will be at home to Billingham Synthonia on Saturday 11 September.  The winners of that tie will be at home to Brandon United on 25 September

Whitley were beaten 2-1 at Bedlington Terriers in their latest pre-season game, the goal coming after 38 minutes from a triallist. The friendlies continue with a trip to Washington at the Northumbria Centre NE37 3HR on Wednesday ko 7.30pm.

Whitley Bay FC Directors are inviting those 2020/21 season ticket holders who generously waived their refund last season to drinks and buffet at the club ahead of the friendly against Whitby on 17th July. See news story for full details.

Fixtures for the 2021/22 Northern League season have been released and Whitley begin at home to Whickham on Saturday 31 July. Three days later Penrith are the visitors to Hillheads. The first away league game comes a week later on Tuesday 10 August with a trip to Sunderland RCA. A busy early season programme includes eight games in August plus the opening round of the Emirates FA Cup.  Full fixture list

Pre-season fixtures announced.  Whitley’s first home game comes this coming Saturday, 17th July when former Bay manager Nathan Haslam brings his Whitby Town side to Hillheads.  Full list of fixtures is available in the news story below.
