We are sorry to announce that manager Nathan Haslam is leaving the club to become Head Coach at Whitby Town. While we are obviously disappointed to lose Nathan, this is an opportunity for him to work at a higher level of non-league football and we would like to wish him every success in his new role. We would also like to put on record our thanks to Nathan for his services to Whitley Bay FC over the past year.
Nathan made the following statement:
“I’d like to go on record and thank the board of directors, the volunteers, the players and the amazing fans for their support during my time as manager of this great football club. I have met a lot of new friends and it is with a heavy heart I move on. It is progression on a personal level and I’m looking forward to the challenge that lies ahead. I wish everyone at and associated with the club nothing but the best moving forward”
