HOW TO REACH HILLHEADS
By Car: from Tyne Tunnel A19, take A1058 exit towards the coast. From Newcastle, follow A1058 Coast Road. Turn left at A192 roundabout by Tynemouth Swimming Pool then take A191 at Foxhunters roundabout, follow this road for half a mile then turn right immediately past pedestrian crossing outside Aldi supermarket. Take the first left into a public car park which is immediately behind the ground. Walk up a narrow lane towards Ice Rink and turn right into the ground.
By Rail: Take Tyne & Wear Metro from Newcastle to the coast. Alight at either Monkseaton or Whitley Bay and ground is ten minutes walk.
By Bus: Services 308 and 309 from Newcastle Haymarket Bus station pass the ground. alight at the Ice Rink. Frequent service throughout the day and evening.
AROUND THE GROUND
Hillheads Park has terracing on all four sides. The main stand, on the side closest to the entrance, has seating for 330 and further covered standing accommodation.
The new stand on the opposite side has covered standing accommodation.
The Seahorse clubhouse is open from midday on Saturday matchdays, and from 6pm on midweek matchdays.
A burger van provides hot food and drinks while on the opposite side of the ground ‘Tommy’s Tea Hut’, named in memory of Bay stalwart Tommy Moody, is operated by the Supporters Club and sells hot drinks and snacks.
Toilets are situated inside the clubhouse.
ADMISSION PRICES
Admission prices for Northern League and most Cup games: Adults £7, Concessions (Senior Citizens) £5. Children 5 -14 £4, Under 5’s Free. All payable at the turnstiles except where games are deemed all-ticket.
