Bay sign French midfielder and former England Schools striker

We are pleased to announce the signing of French midfielder Thibault Charmey from Guisborough Town. The highly regarded 25 year old scored twelve goals for the Priorymen this season, a particularly impressive record in a team struggling near the foot of the table. As a youngster he was a member of the PSG Academy and played in the 2006 French World Cup winning side at Under 15 level, scoring in the Final against Sweden.    Photo as a Guisborough player courtesy of Yvonne Barker.  

We have also completed the signing of striker Peter Glen-Ravenhill from North Shields. Previously at Team Northumbria, Peter was a Schoolboy International and scored for England Under 18’s against Scotland at St James’ Park in 2012.

We would like to welcome both Thibault and Peter to Whitley Bay. Both will be eligible to play in the League Cup as neither player is cup-tied for the competition.
